ROG Academy Season 9: All the Details You Need
ROG Academy Season 9 is dedicated to empowering aspiring esports athletes who dream of going pro in CS2. The program is committed to helping players grow from grassroots beginners to major-league champions, and the theme #YourNextStep perfectly captures this mission.
With the rise of local and regional CS2 tournaments, ROG Academy will equip players with the tools they need to excel. From learning from industry experts to receiving top-tier equipment, participants will have everything they need to succeed. They will also receive a monthly compensation of INR 15,000, subject to applicable deductions.
Please note: Participants aged 16 to 18 must submit a parental or guardian consent letter.
Saharyar “BaDMaN” Shaikh will continue to serve as the mentor and head coach, using his extensive experience as an In-Game Leader (IGL) to guide the team. BaDMaN has coached successful teams in the past, including the Global Esports Female CS:GO team. He has a proven track record, leading them to victory in the South Asia CS:GO Qualifiers and a runner-up finish in the Southeast Asia and Oceania CS:GO event. His expertise in identifying and nurturing young talent has resulted in the success of notable players like Akram “Rawfiul” Virani, Prabhdeep “Ghost” Bhatia, Prish “Tricky” Valvani, and Rishabh “Ezzy” Gupta.

Since its inception, ROG Academy has attracted over 13,000 registrations from aspiring esports athletes. They have successfully transformed 48 candidates into professional players, with twelve graduates joining Tier 1 and Tier 2 esports organizations in India. These players have competed in top regional tournaments.
Notably, ROG Academy Season 8 alumni Tejas “Seek” Agarwal and Amandeep “Arakyn” Khurana were signed by Grayfox Esports for their CS2 roster. Season 8 participants also had the opportunity to learn from industry veterans like Lukas “yb” Gröning and Sudhen “Bleh” Wahengbam, gaining valuable insights from their experience in Counter-Strike.
