This year’s format is different, as the month-long round-robin format has been replaced with GSL groups, making the tournament shorter and more exciting. The teams will not only be battling it out for the championship title but also for a chance to qualify for Masters Madrid and earn valuable EMEA Points.

The VCT EMEA Kickoff Tournament will begin on February 20 – the schedule is as follows:
- Group Stage – February 20th – 25th
- Play-Ins Stage – February 26th
- Playoffs Stage – February 29th – March 1st
