Get ready, Trainers! The Pokémon GO January 2024 Community Day is just around the corner. Niantic is set to host the first community day of 2024 on 6th January in seventeen cities across India. The upcoming community day will spotlight the popular and adorable Grass/Flying-type Pokémon: Rowlet. Let’s dive into all the exciting details for this event.
Featured Pokémon – Rowlet
During the event, Rowlet will appear more frequently in the wild, giving players a chance to snag this incredible Pokémon. Additionally, Decidueye will be able to learn the Charged Attack Spirit Shackle during the event and afterwards, boosting its power in battles.

- Date: January 6th, 2024
- Time: Event hours
Spirit Shackle has the following effects:
- Trainer Battles: 50 power and a chance to lower the opposing Pokémon’s Defense by one stage
- Gyms and raids: 70 power

Bonus Raid Battles After Community Day
After the three-hour Community Day event, trainers can participate in special four-star Raid Battles. Emerging triumphant in one of these raids will cause more Rowlet to appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes.

Tips and Tricks – Four-star Raid Battles
During this event, Dartrix will appear in four-star raids. Remember that you can only join using a Raid Pass or a Premium Battle Pass, as Remote Raid Passes will not be available for these battles.
Successfully defeating Dartrix in a four-star Raid Battle will cause additional Rowlet to appear near the Gym for 30 minutes. For those seeking a shiny, keep an eye out for the rare Shiny Rowlet!
