SabeRLight- Takes Jab at OG’s Ceb After ESL One Birmingham 2024 Qualifier Loss
Shopify Rebellion’s SabeRLight- didn’t waste any time mocking OG’s Ceb after Tundra Esports defeated them in the ESL One Birmingham 2024 WEU closed qualifier. This was a direct response to Ceb’s cryptic tweet, which seemed to be about Shopify Rebellion.
On January 30th, OG suffered a defeat against Tundra Esports in the ESL One Birmingham 2024 WEU closed qualifier. The series was intense, with Tundra outplaying OG. Right after OG’s loss, SabeRLight-, from Shopify Rebellion, quote-tweeted one of Ceb’s earlier tweets and trash-talked the two-time TI champion.
On January 11th, Ceb sarcastically tweeted
“Karma never f****g fails to deliver you gotta love it,” after Shopify Rebellion was eliminated from the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai qualifier by Heroic. The Dota 2 community speculated that this tweet was aimed at Kitrak, who had left OG to join Shopify Rebellion.
Seizing the opportunity, SabeRLight- used OG’s defeat as a chance to get back at Ceb for his earlier tweet, keeping the trash-talking spirit alive in the Dota 2 scene.

On January 30th, SabeRLight- of Shopify Rebellion mocked Ceb for his loss in the ESL One Birmingham 2024 WEU closed qualifier. SabeRLight simply reposted Ceb’s earlier tweet and wrote, “frfr,” mocking OG’s support for their loss in the ESL One Birmingham 2024 qualifier.
In the WEU closed qualifier for ESL One Birmingham 2024, Tundra and OG fought for the only spot in the main tournament. During the series, OG was aggressively tipping Tundra Esports’ new support player, 9Class. However, in response, 9Class wrote “Just better” in all chat, having the last laugh as Tundra eliminated OG from the tournament and secured their place in the main event.

Following this loss, Ceb expressed his respect for Tundra Esports and congratulated them on a well-deserved victory. He also defended 9Class, stating that winners have the right to speak in Dota.
