PUBG Esports 2024: Roadmap & Strategy
The roadmap for the PUBG Esports events in 2024 aims to grow the game’s global esports industry and create a vibrant ecosystem with competitive and engaging tournaments for players, fans, and sponsors. This roadmap includes a detailed schedule for all four PGS, PGC, PUBG Nations Cup, the bonus event in Riyadh, and regional series.
Player Engagement Strategy
To get more player engagements and audience attention, we propose the following strategies:
- Open Qualifiers: Host open qualifiers for each PGS tournament, allowing amateur teams to compete for a spot in the main event, and include global partner invites.
- In-Game Skins and Battle Pass: Collaborate with PUBG Esports partner teams to create exclusive in-game skins, battle pass rewards, and PUBG Esports-themed items related to the events, with a share of the sales revenue going to the teams and contributing to the tournament prize pool.
- Cross-Platform Integration: Introduce cross-platform play, allowing players from different platforms (PC, Xbox, PlayStation) to participate in the same tournament.
- Social Media and Marketing Campaigns: Strengthen and enhance social media presence, marketing campaigns, and live streaming platforms, engaging with fans and providing consistent content and interaction.
- Esports Academy: Develop esports academies to nurture and train new talents, collaborating with teams, sponsors, and educational institutions.
- Fan Experience Zones: Introduce fan experience zones at the events for attendees, featuring VR experiences, meet and greets with pro players and casters, and esports merchandise sales.
PUBG Global Series (PGS) 2024
The PGS 2024 consists of four events, showcasing unique cities and venues to attract fans and participants.
PGS Event 1
- Venue: Staples Center, Los Angeles, USA
- Date: February 15th – 25th
- Time: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM PST
Kickstarting the year in LA, a stunning venue that will accommodate fans, players, and partners. Exclusive team-branded merchandise and promotional deals from local businesses are planned to elevate fan engagement.
PGS Event 2

- Date: May 11th – 21st
- Time: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM GMT
Bringing PUBG Esports to Europe, we’ll leverage partnerships with the UK esports scene. A fan meet-and-greet with players and exclusive workshops with lead designers will offer unique experiences for ticket holders.

PGS returns to Korea in a revamped ESpot Arena. Promoting partnerships with major Korean sponsors, we ensure media coverage and advertising that could drive millions of fans to watch the PGS online and offline.
PUBG Nations Cup 2024
- Venue: Katowice Spodek, Katowice, Poland
- Date: July 5th – 14th
- Time: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM CET
Uniting all-star teams, PUBG Nations Cup showcases national pride. To cultivate fan excitement, photography spots, virtual reality experiences, and loyalty programs will be incorporated to encourage multiple visits.
Bonus Event: Esports World Cup 2024 Riyadh
