RSG Philippines claimed victory in the grand finale after outplaying RRQ Hoshi with an impressive 4-0 sweep. Prior to that, the M1 World Championship in 2019 saw EVOS Legends from Indonesia seize the inaugural world championship trophy at the Axiata Arena, emerging triumphant over their fellow Indonesian team RRQ Hoshi in a nail-biting 4-3 win.
“This achievement is not just for a single person, but for all Malaysians,” said Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Malaysia, Yb Adam Adli, commenting on the honor of hosting the esteemed event for the second time. “M6 will be a momentous occasion for our nation, and we are eager to welcome players, fans, and enthusiasts from around the globe.”
