Chapter 2 Remix Week 1: West Coast Takes Over The Island
Epic Games has officially opened Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix, transporting millions of players back to the beloved 2019 island layout infused with weekly musical icon takeovers. Week 1 is dominated by rap icon Snoop Dogg, who has transformed the central Agency headquarters into The Doggpound, complete with security henchmen, hydraulic low-riders, and the return of the devastating Mythic Drum Gun.
1. The Doggpound POI Evolution & Layout Changes
The center of the Chapter 2 map has undergone a lavish West Coast transformation. While retaining the iconic three-story marble architecture of The Agency, The Doggpound introduces reinforced bulletproof glass atrium roofs, automated DJ turntables playing Snoop classics, and an underground subterranean vault secured behind reinforced titanium blast doors.
Henchmen now sport fedoras and pinstriped suits, patrolling the perimeter armed with suppressed SMGs and tactical pump shotguns. Infiltrating the POI undetected requires disguising your squad at telephone booths scattered along the eastern and southern helipads.
2. Snoop Dogg Boss Encounter Tactics & Phase Guide
Snoop Dogg patrols the main second-floor penthouse office accompanied by two elite Ghost Henchmen bodyguards. The boss encounter features 1,500 effective health points split evenly between shields and green health:

Phase 1: Suppressive Drum Gun Fire (100% to 50% HP)
Snoop fires continuous 50-round drum bursts with pinpoint hipfire accuracy. Counter by holding right-hand peeks around the marble pillars and tossing Boogie Bombs to interrupt his firing rhythm. -
Phase 2: Low-Rider Smoke Dispersion (Below 50% HP)
At 50% health, Snoop summons a hydraulic low-rider shockwave that bounces nearby players into the air while deploying dense visual smoke. Use Thermal Fish or scoped assault rifles to track his silhouette. -
Phase 3: Defeat & NPC Hire
Upon depleting his health bar, Snoop drops the Mythic Drum Gun and Doggpound Vault Keycard, while becoming an invulnerable hireable ally who periodically provides your squad with Chug Splash heals.
3. Snoop’s Mythic Drum Gun Weapon Telemetry
The Mythic Drum Gun returns to its dominant Chapter 2 Season 2 power state:
- Damage Per Shot: 24 to the body, 36 to the head (1.5x critical multiplier).
- Fire Rate: 8.0 shots per second (480 RPM).
- Magazine Capacity: 50 rounds with a 2.7-second reload time.
- Structure DPS: 192 damage per second, melting fully built wood walls in less than 0.8 seconds.
4. Vault Loot Cache & Speed-Leveling Route
Using the Doggpound Keycard unlocks the central vault, granting access to:
- Three Mythic Chests containing guaranteed Legendary Rocket Launchers or Heavy Snipers.
- Two Supply Drops worth of gold weapons, 500 gold bars, and six full Chug Splashes.
- A secret subterranean ventilation tunnel that launches players out toward Salty Springs with active glider re-deploy.
