TOKYO — Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft have officially confirmed that Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO surpassed an astounding 3 million copies sold within its first 24 hours of launch, cementing its legacy as the fastest-selling Dragon Ball game of all time.
The 15-Point DP Ranked Battle Meta Explodes
With ranked competitive mode taking over Twitch and YouTube, players have pushed the 15-point Destruction Point (DP) roster limit to its tactical limits. High-cost powerhouse characters like Super Vegito and Whis are clashing against efficient budget compositions designed around super armor and vanishing counter loops.
Official Ranked DP Tier List (Patch 1.03 Meta)
| Tier Rank | Fighters | DP Cost | Why They Dominate The Meta |
|---|---|---|---|
| S+ (God Tier) | Super Vegito, Whis, Gogeta (SSGSS) | 9 – 10 DP | Instant perception counters, unreactable beam supers, massive health pools |
| S (Meta Staples) | Goku (Ultra Instinct), Broly (Super Saiyan Full Power) | 8 – 9 DP | Automatic dodge passive mechanics; hyper armor on charge smashes |
| A+ (Best Value) | Yajirobe, Android 17 (Super), Tien | 2 – 4 DP | Yajirobe Senzu Bean full HP heal; Solar Flare unblockable setups |
Pro Tip: The Ultimate 15-Point Tournament Team
- Anchor (8 DP): Gogeta (Super Saiyan) — Top-tier rush supers and high ki generation.
- Mid (5 DP): Perfect Cell — Barrier shield nullifies projectile spam and allows safe vanish counters.
- Support (2 DP): Yajirobe — Stock up 2 skill points to instantly consume Senzu Bean for 100% health restore.
