Tournament Format
The BGIS 2025: The Grind runs from February 5 to 23, 2025, featuring a total of 24 matches per group across four weeks, with different teams competing each week:
- Week 1 (Group D): February 5 – 8
- Week 2 (Group C): February 10 – 13
- Week 3 (Group A and B): February 15 – 18
- Week 4 (Group A and B): February 20 – 23
Each group will see the top 8 performing teams advance to subsequent rounds, while the bottom teams will have to compete in earlier qualification rounds.
Points and Seeding
Points accrued throughout the matches will determine the progression of teams to the next stages of the tournament. The top teams will earn their spots in the Round 2 and Round 3, ultimately paving the way to the Grand Finals, scheduled to be held in Kolkata from April 18 to 20, 2025. The main event will see a massive pool of ₹2 crore awarded to the top-performing teams.
