In a heart-stopping display of skills and action, the Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) grand finale came to an extraordinary conclusion, with Blind Esports reigning supreme. Skyesports, India’s top Esports tournament organizer, held the showdown at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium, Bangalore, from November 3 to 5. Over 12,000 people gathered to witness the premier BGMI squads from across the country compete for a staggering total prize pool of INR 1.25 crore.
AMD Powered the event, and Zebronics acted as its Gaming Partner. Loco, the renowned independent gaming and Esports streaming platform, exclusively broadcasted the final in English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam as the event’s Broadcast Partner. Meanwhile, Tecno POVA 5 Series stood as the smartphone partner.
Four WWCD Victories Secure Blind Esports’ Championship
With an impressive four Winner-Winner Chicken Dinners (WWCD), Blind Esports accumulated a total of 170 points, taking the event’s top position. Revenant Esports followed closely in second place with 160 points, and OR Esports rounded out the third spot, amassing 150 points.
Blind Esports’ 16-year-old player, Rudra “Spower” Banswani – among the youngest to participate in the LAN finals – remarked, “Coming into this tournament, we knew we had what it took to win it all despite the high calibre of teams playing in the Skyesports Championship 5.0. Team Soul finished fourth with 137 points, and Gods Reign claimed fifth place, accumulating 133 points. Ritesh “Fierce” Nawandar received the Most Valuable Player (MVP) trophy for his exceptional gameplay throughout the thrilling three-day finals.

N.A. Haris, an esteemed Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, attended the event and praised its success. He showed his support for the growth of Indian Esports by saying, “Seeing so much crowd is really very impressive, and I can see that so many people are interested.
