Tournament Window: November 21 – December 15, 2026 | Host City: Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia |
Format: Wild Card -> 16-Team Swiss Stage -> Double-Elimination Knockouts
The undisputed king of mobile esports in Southeast Asia has entered its championship crucible. Moonton Games’ Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M6 World Championship is landing at the iconic Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, uniting 16 global champions competing for $1,000,000 USD in prize money. Adopting the high-intensity Swiss Stage format for the second consecutive year, M6 eliminates low-stakes group stages in favor of cutthroat best-of-one clashes where early macro tempo dictates tournament survival.
With Indonesian dynasties Fnatic ONIC seeking historic redemption against reigning M5 champions Liquid ECHO from the Philippines, the tournament meta has been profoundly disrupted by the arrival of the dual-form assassin/fighter Suyou (The Mask of the Immortal). In this analytical deep-dive, EsportPort’s mobile esports desk reviews the official Swiss draw, hero pick/ban priority, and high-value esports betting markets.

Suyou’s unique mechanic—where tapping skills activates fast Mortal mobility while holding skills channels high-defense Immortal cleaves—allows junglers to execute instantaneous Retribution smite steals while possessing innate 40% damage reduction:
+EV Sharp Play: Fnatic ONIC First Turtle Kill
Kairi and Kiboy boast an astonishing 84.2% First Turtle conversion rate in international LAN play. Backing ONIC on First Turtle markets at -125 provides consistent positive mathematical expectation against non-Filipino opposition.
Regression Warning: Over-Round Matches on Swiss Day 1
Best-of-one Swiss opening rounds in MLBB favor aggressive 11-to-14 minute snowball stomps. Avoid taking “Over 16.5 Minutes” lines on top-seed vs wildcard matchups; teams with gold leads force early Base Turret pushes without waiting for the 18-minute Enhanced Lord.
