The highly anticipated Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2025: The Grind is in full swing, featuring intense battles among India’s top 64 invited teams. These teams have been selected based on their performances in previous official tournaments. Following the conclusion of Weeks 1 and 2, where Group D and Group C teams showcased remarkable performances to secure their seeding in the main event, Week 3 is set to bring more action with Group A and Group B competing for their spots.

Each group will play 12 matches over two days during the third week. This format will continue into Week 4, where overall standings will determine the seeding of teams into different stages of the BGIS 2025 Main Event.
BGIS 2025 The Grind: Schedule and Format
The BGIS 2025 The Grind is scheduled from February 5 to February 23. The 64 invited teams have been divided into four groups of 16 teams each, and they will play 24 matches throughout their respective weeks. The event is structured into four weeks as follows:
Week 1: (Group D) – February 5 to 8
- Bottom 8 teams: Advance to Round 1 (February 16 – 23)
- Top 8 teams: Advance to Round 2 (February 27 – March 2)
Week 2: (Group C) – February 10 to 13
- Bottom 8 teams: Advance to Round 2 (February 27 – March 2)
- Top 8 teams: Advance to Round 3 (March 6 – 9)
Week 3: (Group B & Group A) – February 15 to 18
- Group B (February 15-16): 12 Matches
- Group A (February 17-18): 12 Matches
Week 4: (Group B & Group A) – February 20 to 23
- Group B (February 20-21): 12 Matches
- Group A (February 22-23): 12 Matches
BGIS 2025 Main Event Timeline
The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2025 is set to take place from January 25 to April 27, 2025. The tournament will feature 64 professional teams and 1,016 teams from open qualifiers. The Grand Finals will be hosted in Kolkata from April 25 to 27, 2025.
