The inaugural week of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2025: The Grind has officially concluded, showcasing an intense competition among Group D teams. In a decisive showdown, the top eight teams from the week have successfully qualified for Round 2 matches, while the bottom eight will continue their journey in the Round 1 matches scheduled for February 16th to 23rd.

Tournament Format
The BGIS 2025 is structured into four weeks of matches, with a total of 64 invited teams divided into four groups. Each group will participate in 24 matches throughout their respective weeks. A summary of the schedule is as follows:

- Week 3: February 15 – 18
- Week 4: February 20 – 23
As teams advance, the format will sharpen the competition, culminating in highly anticipated quarterfinals later in March.
The BGIS 2025 will feature not only these 64 professional teams but also 1,016 teams emerging from open qualifiers. The grand finals are set to take place in Kolkata from April 25th to 27th, promising a thrilling conclusion to this extensive tournament.
