Twitch Star YourFellowArab Kidnapped in Haiti, $600K Ransom Demanded

In a harrowing turn of events, popular US YouTuber and Twitch streamer Addison Pierre Maalouf, famously known as ‘YourFellowArab,’ has been kidnapped in Haiti, sparking urgent calls for action within the online community. This unexpected situation has left fans and fellow content creators deeply concerned.

Maalouf was reportedly abducted by the notorious 400 Mawozo gang, creating a wave of panic and a desperate plea for his safe return. The group is demanding a staggering $600,000 ransom after a recent trip Maalouf took to Cape Haiti, which has been partially met with $40,000 already paid, though his current condition remains unknown.

The abductees, Maalouf and his driver, are victims of the so-called ‘Lanmò 100 jou’ faction of the gang, as reported by the local news outlet Haiti24.

In an effort to quell rumors and provide clarity on his friend’s plight, fellow Twitch streamer ‘Lalem’ has publicly confirmed the kidnapping on X, highlighting the gravity of the situation and assuring that efforts are underway to secure their release. His earnest message warned against reaching out to Addison directly for the time being, citing “safety reasons.”

Masih, Addison’s editor, poignantly shared the last footage of Maalouf prior to the kidnapping. The video chillingly captures Addison expressing his awareness of the dangers posed by gangs in Haiti and his intent to avoid unnecessary risks.

Addison’s ominous exchange on X before his departure and the last message sent to his friend Miles Routledge have augmented the concern among his dedicate followers. He spoke of undertaking “another one of those trips,” resignifying his words about potential peril.

Tremendous strain is put upon Addison’s family as they strive to coordinate efforts with U.S. authorities to facilitate his release, embodying the urgency of the crisis.

The deep concern for YourFellowArab’s well-being reverberates across the Twitch community, intensified by the unpredictable conditions in Haiti that endanger the streamer’s safety. The continuous support and combined endeavors of fans, fellow creators, and authorities remain pivotal in the ongoing pursuit of his secure and prompt return.

This situation is evolving, and as information becomes available, updates will be provided. The need for solidarity and collective action has never been more critical—it’s in this unity that hope resides for YourFellowArab’s safety and his eventual reunion with his global audience.
