S8UL Clinches ‘Esports Content Creator of the Year’ Award at Esports Awards 2023

In a groundbreaking achievement for the Indian Esports community, S8UL has bagged the prestigious ‘Esports Content Creator of the Year’ award at the Esports Awards 2023 for the second year in a row. This accomplishment highlights the exponential growth of the esports industry in India and propels S8UL to the global stage, where it can compete with international players.

S8UL, a brainchild of industry veterans Naman Mathur (Mortal), Animesh Agarwal (8Bit Thug), and Lokesh Jain (Goldy), surpassed global competitors such as Christian ‘IWDominate’ Rivera, Timothy ‘ITZTIMMY’ An, The Score Esports, One True King, Judo Sloth, and many others. The victory came as a monumental milestone for S8UL, cementing their status in the Indian esports landscape and elevating Indian esports worldwide.

Co-Founder Lokesh Jain spoke about the historic win, “Winning the ‘Content Group of the Year’ award last year was an incredible milestone for us. To follow it up with another one this year is beyond words to express our gratitude. This achievement is a testament to the hard work of our creators and the endless support from our fans. S8UL has changed the way gaming and content is perceived in India. We are not just creating content but we are shaping the future of Indian Esports and gaming creators economy on a global scale.”

Since its inception, S8UL has blazed the path as a leader in gaming content in India, assembling the brightest talents in the industry under one umbrella. Among their accomplishments, they won the inaugural ‘Global Impact on Mobile Gaming’ award at the MOBIES earlier this year. The organization houses some of India’s best gaming creators, such as Mortal, Scout, Payal, Mamba, Snax, Rega, Krutika, Sidd, and Kaashvi.

Animesh Agarwal, aka 8Bit Thug, also shared his thoughts, “Winning in this difficult category twice, against some of the biggest names in the industry is a surreal feeling. These milestones let us know that we are on the right path with our vision. It also gives all of us something to celebrate at a time when the industry is undergoing significant transformations.”

In addition to S8UL’s success, Naman ‘Mortal’ Mathur, the co-founder, was nominated for the ‘Esports Personality of the Year’ category, although the award was claimed by Disguised Toast. Mortal has been consistently representing India at the Esports Awards, winning second place for the Streamer of the Year for two consecutive years in 2020 and 2021.

This victory speaks volumes about S8UL’s impact on the esports industry, serving as an inspiration to aspiring gamers and content creators worldwide. The triumph not only celebrates the organization’s accomplishments but emphasizes the immense potential that Indian esports hold on the world stage.

As the esports industry continues to evolve, we can expect to see more groundbreaking achievements from dedicated and passionate trailblazers like S8UL. Their success story is a testament to the bright future that awaits Indian esports and the global gaming community at large.
